This instructor-facilitated film workshop series uses cinema as a lens for exploring themes such as community, resilience, identity, and imagination. Each session invites participants into a face-to-face educational workshop featuring a curated film selection followed by guided discussion and reflection.
Workshops take place on the first Saturday of each month.

Workshops are offered on a sliding-scale donation basis to help keep community arts education accessible. Participation requires enrollment. Students may enroll ahead of time or sign in on site before the session begins. See Student Member terms for details.
Workshops are held in the barn at Home Afarm Co-op, a rural cooperative space that hosts community arts and educational programming.
Workshop participants are welcome to tent camp at Home Afarm on the night of the event. This camping opportunity is offered by the cooperative for workshop participants and is separate from Sentient Meat’s educational program.

All film selections are subject to board approval. We value community feedback as we develop our workshop series.
This program is open only to enrolled Student Members and is offered as part of Sentient Meat’s nonprofit education mission.
